Pet Import Requirements in Mexico
Mexico is a pet friendly state and does not quarantine healthy animals coming from countries that have a low risk of rabies, including the USA and Canada.

All animals need to have full vaccinations. Dogs:  distemper, hepatitis, parvo, leptospirosis, (DHLPP) and rabies. Owners or their representatives must provide original rabies certificates. Cats must be vaccinated against: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia (FVRCP), and rabies (original rabies certificate).

Vet Health Certificate (Form 7001). This is the standard health certificate to be filled out by the USDA accredited veterinarian. Must be issued within 10 days of the departure. Certification the consular authorities of Mexico is not required for the health or vaccination certificate. A permit fee is charged at the time of entry into Mexico.
