Pet Import Requirements in Lithuania
Pets, including dogs, cats and ferrets have to meet the following requirements for import to Lithuania: pets shall not show clinical signs of the diseases, including infectious; pets have to be identified by means of tatoo or microchip; dogs over 3 months have to be vaccinated against rabies with live or inactivated vaccine; rabies vaccinations have to be approved by official veterinarian; the name of the vaccine and batch number must be indicated on the vaccination certificate; dogs must be vaccinated against rabies at least 30 days and not more than 1 year (or 2 year depending on vaccine form) prior to arrival to Lithuania; dogs must have EU pet passport or veterinary certificate (veterinary certificate is valid for 10 days).

It is also recommended to have dogs vaccinated against canine distemper, hepatitis, viral enteritis, parvo-, adeno-viral disease and leptospirosis.
