Import Regulations in Bosnia-Herzegovina

Pet regulations: Dogs and cats may be taken into Bosnia without any restrictions or quarantine. At the point of entry a Pets Passport and Health Certificate issued by recognised Veterinarian stating breed,colour, name, sex and name of owner must be produced. Pets must be vaccinated for Rabies more than 30 days and not more than 11 months prior to arrival.

The certificate should show batch number, type and date of vaccination. Certificate should also indicate that pet is healthy to travel. Also it should show that pet is free from parasites such as flees and ticks. Microchip not required but recommended. Dogs, cats and birds require a health certificate (dated less than 5 days prior to arrival).
