Prohibitions and restrictions governing entry of domestic pets do apply and are strictly enforced. All pets will be required to enter quarantine for a specified period on arrival with the length of time department upon the time of pet and the country it is arriving from.

There are only three quarantine kennels in Australia - based in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney - animals must therefore enter Australia at one of these airports.
